NEXT FRIDAY!!!!!!!! We'll leave at about 5am on Friday morning, the 11th. We'll fly to DC and then board the 18 hour flight to Addis. (yikes!) Depending on the time of day, we'll be able to go and pick up Tesfamlak when we arrive. On Monday, we'll meet with the CWA staff to make sure all our paperwork is in order and then on Tuesday we'll go to the Embassy Appointment. If all our papers clear, we'll leave on Friday evening and arrive back home on Saturday the 19th. During the "down" times, we'll be able to sight-see with a driver who works with the agency. He will be able to translate and show us around. We'll be staying in a guest house while we're there.
The kids are so excited and Emma even cried when I told her we were going on the 11th. We can't wait to have our family all together.
Alrighty. I've got a lot to do. I can't believe we're traveling in 9 days!!!!!!!
